Days 9 and 10

Day 9: What are your co-workers’/friends’/family’s reactions to your weight loss? Positive or negative?

They say I look good! They’re encouraging. The comments are becoming more frequent. I hope to get more at the beginning of the school year after they haven’t seen me of a while and I drop more pounds. I really need to start hitting the gym.

Day 10: Do you feel like you have given anything up over the course of this process? If yes, what is it, and how do you feel about making the sacrifice?

I have given up utter (reckless) food enjoyment, honestly. I would get anything and everything to my liking at restaurants to try new delicacies and local fare. I now stick to new limitations on that: light vs. regular, grilled vs. fried, chicken vs. pork/beef, etc.

I usually do some cardio, stretch, weights, more cardio.

Day 7:  Who knows about your weight loss journey? What do they think about it?

My friends and family know. I’m not keeping it a secret. They support me because I certainly have pounds to lose!

Day 6. I skipped days 6-19?

Day 6: Do you have any disordered eating habits? How do you overcome/cope with them?

I eat healthy now, but looking back, I used to binge often. I didn’t purge or anything like that, but I ate unhealthy amounts of food until I was bursting. I didn’t do anything with those calories, either, so it went straight to fat.

My appetite and amount my stomach could hold just grew and grew. Now that I’m tracking what I eat and I have a limit, I’m eating much less food. I can’t eat as much as I once did without feeling sick

On another note: in my head I thought I had to do day 20 on May 20th, so I just realized that I skipped days 6-19. I’ll just do one per day and skip back to day 23 when I get there. Silly brain.

Day ventidos

Day 22: At what weight did you feel the happiest? Why?

I felt happiest when I fit into a smaller size than I expected and it looked great. I could wear anything.

I was unhappy when my slender-ness made my skinny friends bitter toward me because now I was stealing some of their spotlight.

I don’t have those petty high school friends now, so maybe things will be different.

I’ve been sick, so I’ve lost weight and haven’t exercised. Back to the gym tomorrow!

This is my favorite business casual dress. It’s navy and I usually belt it with a brown belt. Both are getting way too big for me. :(
My boyfriend and I joke about having #dietproblems and this is one of them. His shirts don’t stay tucked in at work. What a shame.

Days 19 and 20

Day 19: Do you still eat fast food? If yes, what do you eat? If not, why don’t you eat fast food?

Only when I can’t be at home to cook something for myself. Sometimes I get at diet cherry limeade from Sonic. I used to like fast food, but I have definitely lost my appetite for it.

Day 20: If you have been on a weight-loss program, what is your favorite? If not, which one would you be on if you could?

I have been on Weight Watchers for 4 months now. It’s what has worked the best for me. As long as I track my food, I lose weight. I doesn’t really matter what I eat or how many points I go over. It has helped me so much in making better choices.
